Kids at a County Down main faculty have been left shaken after a ceiling collapsed in a classroom.

The incident occurred at about 11:00 BST whereas P4/5 pupils have been being taught at Killyleagh Built-in Faculty.

No-one was injured, however the collapse left a 3 sq. metre gap within the ceiling.

A father of one of many pupils within the classroom mentioned his daughter was “missed by a matter of inches”.

“My daughter was at her desk when the ceiling fell,” mentioned William Walker, father of eight-year-old Zoe.
